Russian Timber Journal 07-2023: Mikhail Shamolin, President at Segezha Group: “The price levels we have now reached reflect the current global situation”; Russian timber industry in 1H 2023: cautious signs of recovery; Mondi announces that it has entered into an agreement to sell its last remaining facility in Russia, Joint Stock Company Mondi Syktyvkar; the buyer of International Paper 50% shareholding interest in Ilim SA is Ilim Global Timber Rus LLC, owned by Zakhar Smushkin and Boris Zingarevich; Plitwood officially started producing large-sized plywood at a facility with a production area of 45,000 m² in Vokhtoga settlement, Vologda Region, with a capacity of 180,000 m³ per year; based on the H1 2023 performance, the furniture output in physical terms grew by 8.6% YoY, up to 28.8 million units; President of the Russian Federation instructed to accelerate the issuance of documents for building multi-story wooden houses.
