Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 5.2% in January-April 2021

In January-April 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 5.2% YoY and totaled 6.8 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia increased by 17.8% YoY to $1.582 billion over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports increased both by volume — by 17.8% YoY to 4.56 million m³ – and by value — by 26.7% YoY to $344.6 million.
