Wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 5.6% in January-April 2021

In January-April 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 5.6% YoY, reaching 720,100 tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 15.2% to $371.8 million.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 22.5%, down to 299,500 tons — and in monetary terms — by 21.8%, down to $104.8 million.
