In January-September 2021, Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 4.8%

In January-September 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 4.8% YoY and totaled 23 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia increased by 40% YoY to $4.63 billion over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports increased both by volume — by 2.2% YoY to 11.05 million m³ — and by value — by 12.6% YoY to $818 million.
