Russian Timber Journal 12-2022: Anatoly Shcherbakov, Director for Timber Supply and Logistics at VLP Group: “No effective state aid measures to support timber harvesting activities have been taken so far”; preliminary results of the Russian timber industry for 2022: the beginning of complex structural transformations; the Lithuanian customs is increasingly identifying cases when they try to import wood or wood products made in the Russian Federation and Belarus into the European Union; according to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2484 dated December 28, 2022, increased rates of customs duties on the export of roughly processed timber were extended until the end of 2025; plywood production in Russia fell to a ten-year low in 2022.
