Wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 8.7% in January 2021

In January 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 8.7% YoY, reaching 176.6 thousand tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 5.1% to $82,5 million.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 21.5%, down to 73.8 thousand tons — and in monetary terms — by 27.2%, down to $24.2 million.
