Wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 0.9% in January-May 2021

In January-May 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 0.9% YoY, reaching 885,300 tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 27% to $483.7 million.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 22.4%, down to 382,700 tons — and in monetary terms — by 18%, down to $138.6 million.
