In January-August 2021, wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 6.6%

In January-August 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 6.6% YoY, reaching 1.374 million tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 35.1% to $855.7 million.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 21.1%, down to 611,500 tons — and in monetary terms — by 8.1%, down to $241.4 million.
