Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 15.7% in January-February 2021

In January-February 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 15.7% YoY and totaled 2.7 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia reduced by 6.9% YoY to $581.1 million over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports increased both by volume — by 33.1% YoY to 2.15 million m³ – and by value — by 48.6% YoY to $164.9 million.
