In January-October 2021, Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 5.2%

In January-October 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 5.2% YoY and totaled 25.28 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia increased by 42.4% YoY to $5.2 billion over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports increased both by volume — by 0.3% YoY to 12.19 million m³ — and by value — by 11.7% YoY to $904.6 million.
