Russian Timber Journal 10-2022: WhatWood Analytics Agency prepared the next rating of TOP 100 Russian timber industry companies in 2021; Russian timber enterprises are asking the authorities to lift the restrictions on transiting dried sawn timber through Kazakhstan to third countries; Viktoria Abramchenko sent a letter to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Transport, instructing them to consider the amendment of temporary rules of determining the sequence of cargo transportation, specifically, prioritizing sawn timber transportation eastwards; Russia increased its plywood production for the first time in a long while; The timber harvesting volume in the Vologda Region reduced by exactly one third in Q2 and Q3 2022 compared to the same period last year, as reported by Alexander Churkin, Chairman of the Board, Vologodskiye Lesopromyshlenniki; Pestovsky LPK suspends its activity for at least half a year.
