Wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 7.1% in 1Q 2021

In 1Q 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 7.1% YoY, reaching 512,000 tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 8.2% to $247.4 million.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 26.2%, down to 220,400 tons — and in monetary terms — by 28.3%, down to $74.9 million.
