VLP Podporozhye is VLP Group’s harvesting enterprise in the Leningrad Region purchased from Metsä Group in May 2024. According to VLP’s press office, there are currently six harvesting machines involved in timber harvesting; the plan is to harvest 257,000 m³ of timber by the end of 2024.

The enterprise has already reached the design performance of 50,000 m³ per month. It is also reported that the plant is successfully teaming up with VLP Svir and the Group’s sawmill in Malaya Vishera, supplying them with raw material.

The entire timber harvest is hauled to the consumers. 238,000 m³ is planned to be hauled in 2024. VLP Group enterprises have harvested and delivered to consumers a total of 960,000 m³ of unprocessed wood since the beginning of the year.
