The IKEA plant in the town of Veliky Novgorod was renamed into Extravert LLC

As follows from the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the new owners of the IKEA plant in the town of Veliky Novgorod changed the legal name of the enterprise from Ikea Industry Novgorod LLC to Extravert LLC on April 28. It is also reported that the company has applied for the registration of its trademark.

Invest Plus LLC purchased Ikea Industry Novgorod LLC in March 2023. The new owner intends to invest up to 3 billion rubles in the development of the enterprise in the next two or three years. It is planned to produce goods under its own brand and develop the production of components for business class furniture.

Ikea Industry Novgorod is the largest production facility previously owned by IKEA in Russia. This enterprise consists of a laminated particleboard plant and a cabinet-type furniture factory. The production capacity of the laminated particleboard plant exceeds 500,000 m³ of sanded particleboard. The cabinet-type furniture factory produces over 7 million cabinet cases and pieces of kitchen furniture per year.
