Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill may suspend production due to a shortage of raw material

Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill may reduce its output or temporarily suspend production due to a shortage of raw material. This was reported by the press office of Sylvamo (USA) that owns the mill.

The mill located in the Leningrad Region is currently working, while the company is trying to solve the supply chain problem and continue production.

Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill employs about 1,700 people. The mill uses raw material and supplies imported from Europe. This enterprise is also the key water and electrical energy provider for Svetogorsk.
