Sokol Pulp and Paper Mill is planning to build a new paper-making machine to produce unbleached greaseproof paper

Sokol Pulp and Paper Mill will implement an investment project in Vologda to build the new Paper-Making Machine 11 and upgrade the existing production facilities.

The key purpose of this investment project is creating a production shop and introducing to the market unbleached greaseproof paper with a mass from 35 g/m², which has no counterparts in Russia and is gaining popularity in the global market.

The project involves construction of a paper-making machine with a capacity of 60,000 t of paper per year, a paper factory building, a finished product warehouse, a pulp preparation shop with a storage warehouse, and a complex of structures.

This investment project may be included in the list of priority investment projects in the forest sector.
