Russian Timber Journal 10-2019: WhatWood Timber Industry Analytics Agency has prepared a fresh annual ranking of the 100 largest timber companies in Russia. Their combined revenue in 2018 totaled 1.16 trillion rubles, which at current prices is 26% higher than in 2017. The total revenue of the Top 100 Russian timber industry companies has almost doubled in the past five years.; the Russian Government may introduce export customs duties on lumber; due to new environmental regulations, many wood processing mills in China have stopped production.
