Russian Federation Government has approved a list of system-forming forest industry companies and measures to support them for COVID-19 period

According to the decree of May 10, 2020 No. 651, 35 forest industry companies and 18 furniture industry companies were included in the list of backbone enterprises of the country:

As measures of state support may include: deferrals of taxes and insurance contributions, state guarantees for loans and borrowings, as well as subsidies for production activities.

For getting support, companies have to undergo stress testing, the results of which will be considered at meetings of the Interdepartmental Commission and the Government Commission to increase the sustainability of the development of the Russian economy.
