Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 6.6% in 2020

In 2020, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 6.6% YoY and totaled 14.8 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia reduced by 4.3% YoY to $4.317 billion over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports in 2020 reduced both by volume — by 2% YoY to 15.553 million m³ – and by value — by 8.1% YoY to $1.026 billion.
