Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 5.9% in January – November 2020

In January – November 2020, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 5.9% YoY and totaled 13.7 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia reduced by 4.1% YoY to $3.974 billion over the reporting period.

Roundwood exports in January – November 2020 reduced both by volume — by 3.1% YoY to 13.56 million m³ – and by value — by 9.4% YoY to $895.3 million.
