Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 6.4% in 2021

In 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 6.4% YoY and totaled 29.134 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia increased by 42.6% YoY to $6.144 billion over the reporting period.

The volume of roundwood exports in 2021 decreased by 10.2% YoY to 13.888 million m³. In terms of value, the growth was 0.3% YoY to $1.025 billion.
