Wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 11.5% in 2021

In 2021, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia decreased by 11.5% YoY, reaching 2.042 million tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies increased by 31.1% to $1.312 billion.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced fell by 13.2% YoY to 922,100 tons. In value terms, the growth was 12.3% to $405.4 million.
