In January-November 2021, Russia reduced its export of sawn timber by 5.5%

In January-November 2021, the volume of sawn timber exported from Russia reduced by 5.5% YoY and totaled 27.267 million m³, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The value of foreign sawn timber shipments from Russia increased by 43.4% YoY to $5.7 billion over the reporting period.

The volume of roundwood exports in January-November 2021 decreased by 2.6% YoY to 13.173 million m³. In terms of value, the growth was 10.2% YoY to $985 million.
