Over 15 years of experience, Ugra timber holding has provided jobs to more than 1 million people

JSC “Ugra timber holding” is in Russia, 19th place in terms of production, the 13th largest lumber and 12th place for the production of chipboard, as one of the largest exporters in the timber industry in the Ural Federal district. Currently, the holding’s share in the Autonomous Okrug in timber harvesting is 42.1%, sawn timber production is 60.6%, timber – LVL, particle Board production, including laminated, and plywood production is 100%. “In 15 years of work we became the hi-tech enterprise of a full cycle of processing of wood from the preparation of forest plantings before release ready. The products are in demand in foreign markets. We have earned the status of leading enterprises of timber industry complex of Ugra and the Urals Federal district. I thank the staff of the enterprise for professionalism, for fruitful work which directly influences the development of the forest industry of the Russian Federation and the Autonomous area in particular”, – the Deputy Governor of Ugra Alexey Zabozlaev noted.

The holding also includes structural units: “Ugra TRANS Service”(harvesting and removal of wood with a volume of 500-600 thousand cubic meters per year),” Sawmills of Ugra “(two sawmills with a total production capacity of 180 thousand cubic meters of export lumber per year);” LVL-Ugra ” – a plant for the production of veneered timber-LVL, plywood with a production capacity of 40 thousand cubic meters per year. On the basis of “LVL – Ugra” works, OOO “LVL- Stroy Project”, engaged in the production of frame-panel structures for low-rise housing with a volume of 20 thousand square meters/year. The average number of employees of the holding in 2018 amounted to 1023 people.

It should be noted that the holding plans to implement a number of projects, the investment capacity of which exceeds 5.3 billion rubles. So, with the German company Siempelkamp, the project of increase in capacity of production of chipboard to 500 thousand cubic meters/year on the basis of plant “Yugra-plates” in Soviet is developed. In the future, at the same site, the creation of production for impregnation (impregnation) of paper for lamination and production of resins for the slab industry is considered.
