On April 02, Pavlovsky woodworking plant released the first MDF 16 mm thick
About it reports a press-service of the company “Altailes”, which includes the wood board company.
Getting the first plate completes the process of debugging all systems and mechanisms of the Pavlovsky woodworking plant (Pavlovsky DOK). Two years after the start of construction, the launch of the plant goes to the finish line. After receiving the products in the automatic mode, two Central mechanisms continue to work — a refining machine (equipment for grinding chips into wood fiber) and an energy center (providing energy to all the capacities of the plant).
In Pavlovsky DOK equipment will allow producing plates with a format of 2440 mm x 1220 mm, 2440 mm x 1830 mm, х2070 mm 2620 mm 2800 mm х2070 mm thickness from 2.5 mm up to 40 mm up to 250 000 m3/year, with an emission class of E1.
The plates will be produced according to the standard technology by hot pressing of wood-fiber mass mixed with a binder based on urea-formaldehyde resins. The density of MDF averages 700 – 800 kg/m3, HDF – 800 – 1000 kg/m3, bending strength – 15 -23 MPa, which is twice more than that of chipboards.
