This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of investment, industry, and transport of the Republic of Komi.

“Now we are entering a new level of development and we are becoming biofuel producers ourselves,” said Artur Kirakosyan, Director of K-BEG. – “We decided to build our own plant in Syktyvkar for the production of wood waste briquettes, pellets and pressed timber (pellets) for pallets. We have the experience and resources to do this. The constantly growing demand for biofuels in the Republic of Komi and abroad also pushed us to this decision. Recently, we have purchased workshops for the new plant, put them in order, in parallel, we purchase the necessary equipment and conduct its installation. The capacity of the new plant is 20-25 thousand tons per year, the line will be flexible – depending on the market conditions, we can produce briquettes, pellets or pellets,” continues Artur Kirakosyan.
