Germany: In April 2021, the average price of pellets decreased by 7.8%

In April 2021, one ton (t) of pellets costs an average of €226.74 (purchase of 6 t). That is 5.5% less than in March 2021 and 7.8% less than last year, according to the German Pellet Institute (DEPI)

The following regional differences arise in the price of wood pellets in April 2021 (purchase quantity 6 t): In southern Germany, pellets are again the cheapest at 219.36 €/t, closely followed by northern Germany with 233.37 €/t. In central Germany, the pellets currently cost 233.42 €/t.

Larger quantities (26 t) will be traded in April 2021 at the following conditions: south: 207.20 €/t, center: 216.19 €/t, north / east: 222.83 €/t (all including VAT).
