Department of forest complex of the Vologda region: “Since the beginning of 2018, timber products in the amount of 56.3 billion rubles have been shipped”

The Department of forest complex of the Vologda region summed up the results of work for 2018.

In January-December 2018, the volume indices for the timber industry of the region amounted to wood processing and production of wood products – 104.7 %, logging-106.6 %, paper, and paper products-103.8%.

Since the beginning of the year, timber products have been shipped in the amount of 56.3 billion rubles (141.1 % by 2017), including:

– logging – 12.1 billion rubles (149.0% by 2017).);

– woodworking-38.9 billion rubles (142.5% by 2017).);

– pulp and paper production-5.3 billion rubles (118.8% by 2017).
