Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises: the share of imported furniture in the Russian market reduced from 41% to 25% in 2022

Furniture production in the Russian Federation remained at the level of 2021 in physical terms but increased by 15% in monetary terms. Alexander Shestakov, President of the Association, believes that the niche freed up by the leaving foreign producers was promptly occupied by Russian companies.

According to tentative data, the furniture production volume in our country reached approximately 356 billion rubles in monetary terms last year (+15.2% YoY).
