Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia: Russian furniture producers replaced IKEA products over the year

Russian furniture producers were able to fully take over IKEA’s share in the Russian market, as reported by Izvestia referencing studies of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia.

According to the Association, in 2021, the share of IKEA was 5–6% of the total furniture sales volume in the country, or 50 billion rubles in monetary terms. IKEA’s share was divided between Russian producers, including former contractors of the Swedish giant.
