Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia: over 10,000 furniture shops may close in Russia in the nearest future

A ban was imposed on locating furniture shops in residential apartment blocks. This regulation came into force on August 14, 2020 and, according to estimates by Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, it will cause every fifth furniture shop in Russia to close in the nearest future. This order made operation of almost 11,000 furniture shops illegitimate.
