A wood pellet production site with a capacity of 80,000 tons per year to open in the Krasnoyarsk region

The project was presented by Alexey Panov, Minister of Forestry of the region, together with representatives of the Association of Timber Enterprises of the Central Region of the Krasnoyarsk Region. The plant is planned to be built in the village of Bartat of Bolshemurtinsky district. Raw materials will be obtained from the processing of unmarketable timber – partially burnt or damaged by pests. The estimated consumption is 185,000 m³ of unmarketable raw materials per year. The project is scheduled to be started in 2022, the production activity – in 2023.
