ULK Group launched a new wood pellet plant in Pestovo

The plant’s production capacity is 60 thousand tons of wood pellets per year. A total wood pellets capacities of ULK Group, now is 300,000 tons per year.

The opening was attended by Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrei Nikitin and the owner of the ULK Group Vladimir Butorin.

In 2021, ULK Group plans to become a leader in Russia in the production of sawn timber and pellets by 1.4 million m3 of sawn timber and 300,000 tons of pellets per year. In 2024, after the launch of a timber processing plant in the north of the Arkhangelsk region, the company plans to produce 2.4 million m3 of sawn timber and 900,000 tons of wood pellets per year.
