The Ulyanovsk Region and Arkhbum JSC signed an investment agreement

On July 9, 2020, an agreement was signed between the region and Arkhbum JSC on the implementation of the investment project at the Representational Office of the Ulyanovsk Region in Moscow. The document was signed by Sergey Morozov, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Sergey Vasin, CEO of the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation and Irina Galakhova, CEO of Arkhbum JSC.

The corrugated packaging production plant will be located in the Zavolzhsky district of Ulyanovsk. The company is rebuilding the production facilities of the former Elektromash plant.

The new plant will create more than 300 new jobs for residents of the region and will invest 2.5 billion rubles in the development of the region. The annual capacity of the new production will be 192 million m² of corrugated products. The investor expects to launch the plant in March 2021. Until 2023, the company plans to expand the production and increase the production facilities.

Arkhbum JSC is a subsidiary of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill JSC (the sole shareholder is Pulp Mill Holding). The main business direction is corrugated packaging production.
