The Government of the Russian Federation endorsed the form of an electronic accompanying document for timber transportation

Every electronic accompanying document has a unique identification code. An electronic accompanying document must be procured for every means of transportation during timber shipment. The document will cease to be effective when timber is accepted at the warehouse or delivered for processing and sale. It will be impossible to create an electronic accompanying document if data on wood and sawn timber, its species and size classes does not match the data declared by the forest user during transportation. The volume of timber generated at felling sites shall comply with the submitted timber declarations and signed purchase and sale contracts for the document to be effective. The timber volume in collecting depots shall match the data in the submitted reports.

As of January 1, 2022, wood and sawn timber transportation will only be possible if an electronic accompanying document for wood transportation exists in LesEGAIS system.
