The”forest plan” of the Volgograd region will spend about 3 billion rubles
In the Volgograd region has approved the “forest plan” for the 2019-2028. About 04 March 2019, reported the press service of the regional Duma.
The document defines the goals and objectives of forest planning, as well as measures for the rational use, reproduction and protection of forests for the next ten years. The total amount of funds to be allocated for the protection, protection, and reproduction of forests during 2019-2028 will be about 3 billion rubles.
A new document developed in the framework of the state contract Committee of natural resources, forestry and ecology of the Volgograd region, FGBU “Roslesinforg”, a leading forest accounting organization in Russia.
Forests occupy 696.8 thousand hectares in the region, and most of them are located on the lands of the forest fund 680.8 thousand hectares. The predominant species are low-stem oak, pine, and poplar. There are 22 forest areas in the region.
