Swiss Krono to open an OSB production facility in the Kostroma region in 2023

The company headquartered in Switzerland will build an OSB plant in the town of Sharya, the total investments are about 20 billion rubles. The memorandum of understanding has been signed by Governor Sergey Sitnikov and Martin Brettenthaler, Chairman of the Board of Swiss Krono Holding AG. The plant is currently at the stage of pre-design development. The investor plans to start new production in 2023.

Earlier, the Swiss group announced that it would build the OSB plant with a capacity of over 600,000 m³ per year by 2021.
