A new plywood mill to open in the Irkutsk region in 2023

Pulp-Nord (Bokhansky district of the Irkutsk region) is going to launch a new plywood mill with a capacity of 18,000 m³ per year. The investments will amount to 203 million rubles. The investment project is supported by the Industrial Development Fund of the Irkutsk Region.

“We are planning to supply mainly to the domestic market, i.e. to Siberia and the Far East. Construction work has already begun, it is scheduled to start up the plant in 2023, it will employ 65 people. The first batches should be shipped in the same year,” commented Gleb Snimschikov, CEO of Pulp-Nord.
