Sveza’s plant in St. Petersburg invested 689 million rubles in its investment projects in 2020

A significant share of the funds – 591 million rubles – was invested in the construction of a mini CHP plant as well as in the switching of the production processes to steam. The crosscutting site was also renovated, investments in the project amounted to 70 million rubles (35 million rubles were invested in 2019).

The company invested 27 million rubles in the creation of a wood briquette production facility. The biofuel is produced from dry birch raw materials using hydraulic presses. The equipment produces up to 5,000 tons of products per year.

In 2020, shipments of UV-coated plywood almost doubled and totaled 11,000 m³. The product is much in demand among furniture producers since it is resistant to sunlight and mechanical damages.
