In 2023, the annual upgrading of the group’s plants enabled it to utilize 95% of timber residue. Next year, the company is planning to improve this performance indicator to 100%.

A considerable share of bark, chips, and sawdust from plywood production is currently used as fuel for heat and electrical energy generation at in-house boiler plants. Timber residue is used to make wood briquettes and particleboard and also for raw material storage in the snow.
