The restoration of Kaduysky Plywood Mill (Kaduy settlement) will begin soon, says Svetlana Gracheva, Head of the Kaduy Municipal District. According to the official, Lokotrading LLC, the land area owner, applied to the Administration of the National Economic Entity for a construction permit.

A shop producing large-sized plywood, a wood pellet production shop, and a product warehouse are planned for construction instead of the plant that burned down in August 2019.

According to WhatWood’s data, the plant used to produce around 40,000 m³ of plywood per year before the fire. In 2019, the output was 22,000 m³.
