Artur Parfenchikov, Head of Karelia, reported that aseptic packaging, including that for liquid foods (for dairy plants), will be produced in the technopark, among other products, and equipment for production of corresponding packages and corrugated cardboard will be designed there. Paper from one of pulp and paper mills in Karelia will be used as raw material.

In October 2022, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development approved a project of building an industrial technopark in Karelia. The investment value will reach almost 320 million rubles, 250 million rubles of which will be assigned from the federal budget in the form of subsidies. The production capacity will make it possible to produce up to 50 million packages per year.
