The Segezha Packaging facility in Ploiești, Romania has just obtained its first FSC international certificate. It became the fifth of the company’s seven production locations in Europe to pass the voluntary forest certification, including Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy.

Since the beginning of this year, Segezha Packaging Romania has also been working towards an ambitious expansion project. This includes a new production facility and warehouse, modernization of the existing machinery and latest state-of-art production line. According to the project timeline, the building will be completed in November 2021. Following the machinery installation, necessary tests and employee training, the production will start in March 2022.
