Segezha Group opens an Innovation Center for high-tech packaging

The new business unit will work on the creation of efficient and high-tech products in the field of paper packaging. It will implement projects for the optimization of the design and appearance of packaging and test new packaging solutions. The range of projects will be expanded through collaboration with leading universities of the country as well as with Russian and foreign startups.

Investments in the project will amount to about 90 million rubles. The Center will be equipped with over 30 pieces of modern equipment: testing and measuring instruments to test new materials and coatings, manufacture prototypes, and prepare for full-scale production. The integrated equipping of the Center will be completed by the end of 2021.
