Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill (a subsidiary of Segezha Group) has completed an investment project in the field of forest development.

Segezha PPM started the project in 2016. Between 2016 and 2020, the investor fulfilled all of its obligations. This involved modernising the pulp digester, building a new paper-making machine, a multi-fuel boiler, purchasing new logging and hauling equipment. All new and modernised equipment was put into operation.

To implement the priority investment project, Segezha PPM leased a forest area with an annual forest use of 219,500 m³ on preferential terms.

The funds raised under the project amounted to RUB 14.6 billion. 171 new jobs have been created in the local community.
