– The ownership of LPK Partner-Tomsk company is transferred to its successor, Latat LLC. As noted by General Director of LPK Partner-Tomsk Viktor Shpilkin, transfer of rights is connected with the owners’ decision to abandon foreign capital. The management of Latat LLC intends to start immediately the expansion of all activities. After upgrading the equipment, the production volume of MDF, laminate flooring and doors will increase.

– Roskitinvest, owned by Chinese corporation AVIC Forestry, opens the second enterprise in its Asino industrial park, an MDF mill with a capacity of 200,000 m3 per year. Currently, installation of equipment is being completed. The first batch of products is scheduled for late December.

– The investment project of Tomlesdrev LLC worth RUR 6 billion entailing a second particleboard 350,000-m3 mill is passing into the final stage.

– Until 2020, a panel mill will be constructed in Mariinsk, Kemerovo region, as reported by the official site of the region. The investor, Chinese company Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum on joint implementation of the investment project with Mariinsky panel mill CJSC.

– In the Kaluga region, a panel project of the Turkish company Kastamonu has been suspended. “We have worked a lot on the matter of the Turkish panel enterprise to become a resident of the Kaluga special economic zone. From our cooperation we were expecting a profit of about €600 million, but due to changes in the political situation we are – well, not closing the project, but suspending its further development. Presently we refrain from filing the accreditation application of Kastamonu to become a resident of the special economic zone”, said the Minister of economic development of Kaluga region Vladimir Popov.
