– By the end of 2014, Volga pulpmill (Balakhna, Nizhny Novgorod region) has produced 494,700 tonnes of newsprint, which is 10.3% less than in 2013. The selling price has increased from 16,305 roubles per tonne in 2013 to 18,842 roubles in 2014.

– The new factory of Schattdecor (Germany) for the production of decorative coatings for the furniture industry has officially started in Tyumen. The construction of the factory began in 2012, and the project is being implemented in two stages.

– Betlitsa woodworking mill, located in the Kuibyshev district of the Kaluga region, is expanding its production, which opened in March 2015. The company is using local raw materials and manufactures up to 72,000 m3 of lumber for packaging, finishing and construction per year.

– In 2014, the production of particleboard at DOK Krasny Oktyabr mill (Tyumen) decreased by 37.7% to 50,200 m3, the production of laminated chipboard – also by 37.7% to 1.4 million m2.

– In 2014, roundwood harvesting at LPK Kipelovo (Vologda region, belongs to Segezha Group) grew by 11% to 1.03 million m3.

– Plitspichprom company (Balabanovo, Kaluga region) has launched a new roundwood sorting line delivered by EWD.

– The investment project of Solis Group LLC on the mill construction in Bratsk, Irkutsk region, was included in the regional priority list.
