Russian Timber Group to reach maximum capacity at its mills

Russian Timber Group intends to increase productivity of its mills through optimization of some processes. Modernization project was developed by an American consulting company specializing in the management and optimization of production processes in the wood industry which has extensive experience in project management around the world.

The first stage of this programme will be carried out at LDK Igirma mill located in Novaya Igirma community in Irkutsk region. The programme will start with modernization of dry sorting department. Installation of new equipment and software will be finished in late September 2013.

“Technologies implemented at LDK Igirma mill are unique to Russia,” company’s managing director Viktor Mukorez said. “Similar equipment is used at the world’s leading factories. This project will increase the productivity of dry sorting line by 25-30% while maintaining premium quality of products.”
