– Lesozavod 25 (Sawmill 25, Arkhangelsk region) is investing RUR 4.8 billion in the modernization of Arkhangelsk LDK-3 sawmill acquired in late 2014 from Rusforest. The project will be implemented until 2018 in two phases. The first one will include installation of the log sorting and sawing lines, as well as the boiler working on bark and wood waste, the second – 12 periodic drying chambers, five continuous drying chambers, and lumber sorting, trimming and packaging units.

– In Dzhidin district of Buryatia, the first stage of a wood processing complex has been commissioned by the joint Russian-Chinese company KR-DzhenKei. The mill will produce larch lumber of radial cut.

– The implementation of the investment project “Polar Bear” at Segezha pulpmill (Segezha Group, belongs to AFK Sistema holding) is temporarily suspended. The company planned full upgrade and expansion of bleached pulp production at the mill worth €900 million.
