Timber industry research & analytics Runko Group doubled the output of firewood and wood briquettes in 2019
In monetary terms, its total production output reached 667 million rubles. In particular, the company produced 2,450 tons of wood briquettes worth 13.8 million rubles and 12,500 m3 of firewood (worth 52 million rubles).
The output of sawn timber and furniture details in monetary terms totaled 71.4 million rubles. In addition to that, 385,000 m3 of roundwood worth 530 million rubles was harvested in 2019.
In 2019, Runko Group equipped its production sites with equipment worth 10.2 million rubles: an Incoplan drying kiln and a Votecs shredder for shredding residual wood into wood briquettes. Along with that, last year, to increase exports to England, the company received the FSC certificate for the veneer production as well as the English BSL (Biomass Suppliers List) certificate.
In 2019, Runko Group began supplying sawn timber to the USA. The company shipped a trial batch: two containers of 70 m3 in total. It is planned to increase supplies to the USA in 2020.
